  • Full coverage for financed cars
  • Any type of ID accepted

For your business

Coverage options

Build the protection that fits you

Required

Liability

Required in Texas. Pays for injuries and damage you cause to other people.

If you cause an accident, liability pays for the other driver's medical bills and the repairs to their car or property, up to your limits. It also helps with legal costs if you are sued.

Good for

  • Every driver: it is required by Texas law
  • Anyone with savings or a home to protect
Per vehicle

Full coverage

Comprehensive and collision together, so your own car is protected too.

Collision pays to fix your car after an accident, no matter who is at fault. Comprehensive covers theft, vandalism, hail, flood, fire and hitting an animal. If your car is financed or leased, your lender (lienholder) usually requires it.

Good for

  • Financed or leased cars
  • Newer vehicles you couldn't easily replace
Whole policy

Personal injury protection

Medical bills and lost wages for you and your passengers, no matter who caused the accident.

PIP pays medical expenses and part of lost income for you and your passengers after an accident, regardless of fault. In Texas it is included unless you reject it in writing.

Good for

  • Drivers who carry passengers or family
  • Anyone with a high health-insurance deductible
Whole policy

Uninsured motorist

Protects you when the other driver has no insurance, or not enough.

Many drivers on Texas roads have no insurance. Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage pays for your injuries and car repairs when the at-fault driver can't pay, including many hit-and-runs.

Good for

  • Everyone: it costs little for what it covers
  • Daily commuters on busy highways
Per vehicle

Roadside assistance

Towing, jump-starts, flat tires, lockouts and fuel delivery, 24/7.

If your car breaks down, roadside assistance sends help: towing, battery jump-starts, flat-tire changes, lockout service and fuel delivery, usually for a few dollars a month.

Good for

  • Commuters and long-distance drivers
  • Older vehicles and new drivers
Per vehicle

Rental reimbursement

Pays for a rental car while yours is in the shop after a covered claim.

After a covered accident, rental reimbursement pays for a rental car or rideshare up to a daily limit while your car is repaired, so you are never stuck without a ride.

Good for

  • Households with only one car
  • Anyone who needs a car for work

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Send us a message.

What's the difference between personal and commercial auto?

Personal auto covers the cars you and your family drive. Commercial auto is for vehicles used for work: the policy is in your company name and has higher liability limits, which many contracts require.

Can I get insured without a driver license?

Yes. We accept any type of ID: foreign licenses, passports, matrícula consular and state IDs. Choose "Other ID" in the quote form.

What does "full coverage" mean?

It usually means liability plus comprehensive and collision. Liability covers damage you cause to others; comprehensive and collision protect your own car.

My car is financed. What do I need?

Your lender (the lienholder) usually requires full coverage and must be listed on the policy. Tell us the bank or finance company in the quote form and we'll take care of it.

How much liability coverage do I need?

Texas requires at least 30/60/25, but that is often too low for a serious accident. Many people choose 100/300/100. Your agent can recommend limits based on what you want to protect.

Can I choose different coverage for each car?

Yes. In the quote form you choose full coverage, roadside and rental separately for every vehicle.

How fast will I hear back?

Usually within one business day. If you need coverage today, call us at (512) 679-2682 or visit one of our 4 Austin offices.
